Independent Book Reading for the year 2020 -2021
September/October – biography (author writes about someone's life other than their own)
November/December – historical fiction (made-up narrative set in an actual historical setting)
January/February – poetry collection (collection of poetry by one poet or a collection of poets)
March/April – autobiography/memoir (narrative that is true to life written by the person him/herself)
Instructions
The first week of the first month, you are to log the title of your selected book on the monthly book sign-up sheet provided. The last week of the second month, you are to submit a book report using the book report form provided. I will provide constant reminders of due dates in class and in the Classroom Notes section of this website.
Caution: You will not be able to submit a book report if you failed to log a book title at the beginning of the first month. Additionally, you will not receive credit for a book report you submit if it does not match the title you initially signed for on the monthly log.
